
Hospice offers grief counseling for those in the last phases
of a life-limiting illness. In addition, the
bereavement coordinator assists family members for
up to 13 months following a patient’s death.
Grief counseling is also available to residents in our area
without someone currently enrolled in Hospice, but
needing our special services. We offer counseling
for both adults and children.
Bereavement Camp for Children
"Camp Courage", an annual, one-day event in July, addresses bereaved children ages
6–13. The camp seeks to meet the emotional needs of children who have lost loved ones, whether or not enrolled in Hospice. The camp (free to these children) relies on
generous community support.
